Action training in evaluation methodology

Once the project is launched, one day will be devoted to training in the system for evaluating and diagnosing the degree of autonomy of universities. This training is based on a theoretical contribution, a method of investigation and evaluation, the strategy for collecting information, and feedbacks in order to write a summary report by partner institution.

To carry out this work, P10 - UL, which is supporting this package, will use the European University Association (EUA)’s reference system which it will adapt to the Vietnamese and Cambodian context.

It will also be based on a methodological guide "self-diagnosis of autonomy" which will serve as a working support and which will be, by the end of WP2, contextualized and enriched.

Carrying out the assessment of autonomy within each partner HEI

This activity is scheduled over 2 months, from March to April 2020. The team leaders, CIP’s members, organize the implementation of self-diagnosis by collecting data and conducting interviews. Remote support from P10 is provided to meet needs and support the achievement of autonomy self-diagnosis (videoconferencing, etc.)

Development and writing of a report by partner HEIs

Once the data has been collected, the team leaders coordinate the compilation and drafting of the summary report, which aims to establish an inventory and identify the room for maneuver by area of activity. Remote support by P10 - UL and P5 - IPD continues for this activity.

WP2 restitution and assessment workshop

The workshop is scheduled for 3 days in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in November 2020 at the end of WP2-3-4. Each partner university will come and present its results and take stock of its work.

Reports by universities will be commented on and will enrich the methodological guide sent to the action training carried out in activity 2.1.

The latter will serve several objectives: manage changes, standardize working methods, and improve access to knowledge.
