On September 15, 2022, the University of Transport and Communications (UTC - Vietnam) organized the handover and commissioning ceremony of the equipment system sponsored by the PURSEA project. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nguyen Thi Cuc Phuong - PURSEA Project Coordinator, Vice-Rector of Hanoi University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, representative of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Chairman of the UTC’s Council and Heads of the UTC’s units: E-Learning Center, Department of International Cooperation and Research and Development, Department of Administrative Equipment, etc.
This important investment was made within the framework of the UTC's e-learning support project, in line with the institution's overall development strategy for the period 2021-2025. This equipment will help the UTC to achieve its set objectives and will also become the core and long-term resources of the University's E-learning Center. At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Chairman of the UTC’s Board stressed that the development of online training is one of the key solutions to improve the quality and to diversify the forms of training at the UTC. Dr. Long also expressed his sincere thanks to the PURSEA Project Coordinator and AUF for their interest and constant support in the implementation and realization of the project, which makes a very practical contribution to the overall development of the UTC. Dr. Nguyen Thi Cuc Phuong – PURSEA’s Project Coordinator also appreciated the work of the UTC’s project team and emphasized the importance of e-learning as one of the main teaching methods of the future, especially in the era of Industry 4.0.
The commissioning of the equipment system for e-learning marks another step in the implementation of the strategy of the UTC on the development and diversification of types of training, as well as a new product that demonstrates the sustainable development of the cooperative relationship between the PURSEA project with its higher education institutions - members of the project.
