CoPIL, CoWoP 2, 3, 4 and CSE working sessions

The working sessions of the steering and coordination committee of the project's activity batches (wp 2, 3, 4, 5) were held remotely on May 11, 2021, and allowed for an assessment of the actions carried out and the presentation of the actions to be implemented for the development of the strategic planning devices.

This meeting was preceded by two days of training (May 6 and 7, 2021) during which various methodologies and support tools related to the decision support information system were presented in order to share best practices. This training was given by Sabine Goulin, Deputy Director General, University of Lorraine, and Thierry Bontems, CNRS Engineer, in charge of the Steering and Pact Strategy, Social Sciences Laboratory.

The project's External Expert Committee met to follow up on the work produced during the morning. The experts made recommendations for continuous quality control and monitoring of the project's progress.

The project's External Expert Committee is composed of:

  • Bernard Dizambourg, Inspector General, Ministry of Higher Education and Research (France)
  • Jean-Émile Gombert, Consultant, Conference of University Presidents (CPU) - France
  • Yves Perraudeau, former advisor to the Minister of Education, Youth and Sport - Cambodia
  • Jean-Luc Nahel, Advisor, Conference of University Presidents (CPU) - France
  • Jun Oba, Professor, Kyoto University - Japan
The PURSEA project (Pilotage Universitaire Rénové dans le Sud-Est Asiatique) is a perfect illustration of the added value of the French-speaking world of science, and this, in a logic of contextualization adapted to new challenges. It is part of a broader desire to share but also to reciprocate, with stakeholders participating in the dynamism and formulation of strategic axes, thus preserving plural identities. The participatory approach and co-construction in a transversal way will thus have strongly characterized the whole project.
This approach will be the one of the future 2021-2025 strategy of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and the PURSEA project prefigures the future projects supported by the AUF.
