Following the preparatory work which is carried out from 13-15 April, restitution and official closing workshops of the WP 2, 3, 4 were organized in distance. Each member university presented to the SSC the activities it has carried out in the framework of these 3 work packages, as well as the results.

The objective of this feedback session was to highlight the coherence of all the activities to be implemented within the framework of the different activity packages. The information collected, processed in the questionnaire, and then analyzed in the BDS should feed the definition of the main strategic axes identified in batch 5 and implemented in an operational way in batch 6.

Each Asian partner should define a link between vision, axis, objectives, results and actions in a logic of strategic alignment: if the vision implies the definition and implementation of multiple strategic axes necessary for each institution, the strategic axes allow to link and to make coherent the vision with the missions and activities of the university. In the end, it is a matter of defining the goals/objectives to be achieved for each strategic axis, knowing that there may be several objectives for a strategic axis. In the PURSEA work, it is a matter of supporting 2 or 3 work axes (strategic axes), one of which is in the mission area (education, research and service to the community), one in the support area (HR, finance, etc.) and another (among mission or support) in a coherent approach.

The results were very encouraging, with well-defined deliverables:

(1) a methodological guide on self-diagnosis of the degree and characteristics of autonomy, analysis of the external environment, internal self-evaluation of the development strategy and activities of the RSEs

(2) 8 synthesis reports from 8 Asian partner RSEs.
